Alliana Brady is a member of the Northern Cheyenne Nation and Seminole Tribe of Florida. She is a direct descendant of Arthur and Ellen Braided Hair, survivors of the Sand Creek Massacre. Brady is from the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Montana and the Brighton Seminole Indian Reservation in South Florida. She graduated from Skyview High School in Billings, Montana, where she was the first person to present the welcome address in a language other than English at graduation (Cheyenne and Miccosukee). Alliana currently resides in Denver, Colorado, where she attends the Metropolitan State University of Denver, studying Exercise Science and Psychology. Throughout school, she has been heavily involved in her institution's Native Clubs and Youth Tribal Councils. Alliana has also been a dancer since she could walk, dancing both the jingle dress dance at powwows and competitively on stage; currently, she performs with many local dance groups around the Denver area.

Brady’s grandfathers worked alongside other descendants of the Sand Creek Massacre and the National Park Service since the early beginnings of reclamation in the 1990s. In 2024, she represented her ancestors at the first annual Sand Creek Massacre Foundation and Amache Alliance Youth Ambassador Program.
